This application functions as a comprehensive terminal client for Android devices, supporting multiple communication protocols and environments. It provides serial communication via USB and Bluetooth (UART) ports, as well as SSH and Telnet access, facilitating various network and local interactions.

Locally, it offers a shell emulator with support for libusb and a command-line interface to interact directly with the Android environment. This enables users to run Linux distributions under PRoot, allowing activities such as compiling, debugging, and flashing microcontrollers—particularly useful when working with programmers that utilize libusb, including OpenOCD with various dongles—all without requiring device rooting.

The application supports Android versions starting from 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and includes versatile input methods suitable for terminal operations that demand specific keyboard functionalities. Users can configure fixed screen dimensions in terms of columns and/or rows.

Supported USB UART devices encompass a range of interfaces including Generic USB CDC, CP210X, FTDI, PL2303, CH34x, and CP2130 SPI-USB adapters. Bluetooth SPP UART devices are also compatible. Additionally, it integrates support for local Linux PTY environments, leveraging PRoot to run various Linux distributions within the app.

A dedicated shell tool enhances interaction with the Android environment by enabling content exchange between applications and internal files or pipes. It functions effectively in chrooted environments (with PRoot), facilitating command-line access to USB and Bluetooth serial ports. Libusb support on non-rooted devices is operational with hot plug/unplug capabilities; detailed instructions are available online.

The application includes custom plugins to interface with the Android environment directly or via separate APK modules. It also supports Telnet (without encryption) and extensive SSH features such as zlib compression, port forwarding, and both password and public key authentication methods.

Notably absent is support for MoSH. Users can fix terminal display dimensions by setting specific column and/or row counts. The UI provides a built-in keyboard and mouse interface, along with hardware button mapping configurations. Compatibility with various charsets and customizable key layouts further enhances usability.

The app is delivered as a single universal APK compatible across architectures, enabling offline installation on diverse devices without the need for internet access.

Third-party components integrated into this project include USB UART support via felHR85/UsbSerial, SSH protocol handling through a modified mwiede/jsch, and console fonts sourced from Fontsquirrel.
